Both VNA (very narrow aisle lateral stackers) and order pickers are specialist machines. They work in racking aisles and can be free steer, rail or often wire guided. These are often 'man-up' machines, and can regularly work at a height of 15 metres or more.
In the event of machine breakdown there are often emergency descender systems where a stranded operator may abseil down.
Categories of Machines:
- E1 – Order picker medium lift (up to 2.5 metres)
- E2 – Order picker high lift (over 2.5 metres)
- F1 – VNA Operator up
- F2 – VNA Operator down
Courses Available:
We offer a variety of courses for this type of equipment. There is a maximum ratio of 3 candidates per course. Courses include refresher training including re-test suitable only for candidates who already hold valid certification on the same machine type, conversion training for candidates wishing to convert from one type of machine to another, experienced operator with no previous formal training, and novice.
Course Duration:
